My name is Fan. I’m an engineer and researcher. As a non-native speaker, my English is decent — I read a lot of English literature for work — but I rarely get the chance to actually speak it. That’s why I’m here: I’d love to find someone to practice English conversation with. In exchange, I’d be happy to help you with Mandarin!
We can start by chatting via text, and if we’re both comfortable, move on to voice calls. I’m usually free on weekday evenings and weekends.
Just a heads-up — I’m quite introverted and not great at starting conversations. If I come off as distant at first, please know it’s not intentional. I’m just a bit shy and sometimes struggle to find the right words. But I’m sincere and eager to connect.
